Had the same problem when I had samson true duals. every pair of jeans I had had a scorch hole in them on the left side, a good dyno /map will help but the only cure i found is go to a 2-1 with a good map because the rear pipe goes foward before it turns toward the rear
DPA - I did this to the headers on my old 94 Impala SS. It really helped with the under the hood heat. It never occurred to me to do the bike, something to think about.
I am thinking about getting a set of Rinehart True Duals and having them ceramic coated before I put them on. I maybe going a bit overboard. I got the link from another thread on the site, so someone has done it. I just like the reduction in ambient air temperature claimed by the website.
