You shop at the wrong place for OEM HD parts / LOL!

Just busting your chops.

But if anyone needs the 40100061 SE comp kit & rotor for 2010 & older bikes requiring the new rotor here it is for $40+ less bucks for (Our Price: $370.07)

I bought that SE comp kit from this source and installed it on my 09 flhtcu w-96" motor because the stock original compensator was shot @ only 9,700 miles.

Default Running PN 42200064A

If you have a 2010 or earlier and need the comp kit... you are better off not ordering the 40100061 SE comp kit & rotor because the rotor has already been modified.

I will end up ordering the 42200064A and modified rotor 30041-08A as opposed to going with the "kit" marketed for my 2009.

I have an 09 with the original comp. Still looks pretty good at 80, 000 miles however was helping a friend change out his worn out SE comp. At about 50, 000 mile and it looked to me like it was possible to just cut off the spring cup on the early style rotors to install the SE comp. Anyone see the same possiblity ?

LOL!

Dude / chill out!

Then after i posted that someone posted the found same item & PT# comp kit for $333 and i posted back thats great not over reacting taking it way too personal like you did over nothing.

I feel any time someone finds the same parts we are looking for a a significantly better price thats a good thing which shouldn't be taken so personal.

Go for a ride ,have a drink & don't sweat the small stuff.

??????????

Just curious why you would not order the 40100061 SE comp kit & rotor kit for your 09 vs ordering comp & rotor seperately?

I have an 09 i installed the 40100061 SE comp kit & rotor on (compensaver too) which has worked great for 6,500 mile thus far .

Well, here is the situation from my perspective...

The 40100061 SE Comp Kit with the 30041-08 rotor $336.

42200064A SE Comp Kit $249 + Modified Rotor 30041-08A $87, total $336.

I do not know the difference between the 30041-08 rotor included in the 40100061 "Kit" and the 30041-08A rotor which must be bought separately but I'd rather have the modified part.

Here is my parts list...
