OH for gosh sakes are you a Harley rider or a GQ model? Worried about a little boot scuff.

 

The stock peg can get rough after use. There are many aftermarket ones that are smooth & don't leave as bad of a mark... but eventually they all will mark up a boot. I use the flat style that matches the Streamliner stuff on a SG.

You could wrap it using the felt side of a Velcro strip which would be softer & not as abrasive.

I never use a heel shifter.

I still say, better quality leather won't scuff from a shift peddle.

 

Thanks to those that provided helpful suggestions. I'll give them some thought.

 

I have lugz boots and their anti scuff, not sure how but the leather looks like asphalt.
