Default Running light

Ok so I have 2007 SG and the running light keeps blowing the fuse. My brake light and turn signals are all operations. I have looked for bare wires, replaced the bulb and it keeps popping the fuse. Ideas?

what are you calling the running light?

the tailight and front marker lights are on that circuit

bike lowered or had a flat lately? the wiring inside the fender could be chewed up- disconnect the rear lighting connector under the seat.

see if the fuse blows then...you could meter the blue wire to ground for resistance

Had my neighbor come over with his meter and verified that there was a short. Heres the scary part. I pulled the batwing off and relocated the right blinker wire back on to its securing mount and the short was gone. There is no visible cuts or frays, so if it happens a again I now have a place to start.
