If you mean it's leaking oil out of the rubber stator plug in the case, you don't need to buy one. Reseal the rubber plug with black rtv and go ride. I've done it while in the bike, but if you really want to get froggy, pull the cover and fish it out, clean the plug good until there is no oil residue, coat it with rtv and put it back. I just installed the cycle electric 45amp kit in my wg and it seems to be a well made product. Fit right in, everything fit correctly and, so far, has worked perfectly--- my stator took a dump so, being an 02 with 119k I changed it all--

Cycle Electric stuff is US made and top quality products. I don't have the stator but I have their VR and that made me a believer.

With the Cycle Electric stator you need to use their regulator as well. They are designed to work in conjunction with each other and if you keep the Harley VR and use their stator you do not get the added benefit of their products.

I thought about this option. But do I have to drain the primary? Or just put it out some , clean it pull it out. Put on the RTV. And move on? Thanks

No question where the problem is here. Went ahead and picked up a stock unit in the way home. It was in stock and I can't pass up the fall riding weather.
