Power outlet to Tourpack

Power outlet to Tourpack
Picked up a Swinebox during Sturgis and before i get it painted I wanted to add a power outlet. Want it to be quick disconnect.
Came up with 2 options so far
1. Drill a hole through the bottom of the pack, get a grommet to fit (which does not appear as easy as it sounds and slide an SAE connector through to connect to battery tender cable.
2. Order a Powerlet Saddlebag Kit. Looks like it is not really made for a tour pack but should work http://www.powerlet.com/product/tank...ector-only/286
Any other options any of you have used?

I made my own with a 12 volt outlet and flat 4 trailer plug ( tourpak also has brake and run lights) under $20 pepboys
or harbor freight for trailer plug...and grommet kits
