I don't get your point. You corrected your post, but the PV is not on the bike so it can't be removed. Please explain your suggestion.

 

got to thinking while laying in bed, pulled unit out of tank, turned on the key & flipped on the run switch. sprayed fuel out of regulator (evidently when it started to run bad after install the new parts it was because the regulator had worked loose!) I used 2 nylon ties to anchor regulator and its plastic housing to main unit. no way it's coming loose. put it all back together and this puppy runs like new! yahoo!
