Default eBay - ABS Black Tour Trunk Pack

Has anyone bought one of these? Comments? Given the price, expectations are low.

You will still need a $200 mount to mount it to your motorcycle. I would buy one just for the top rack.

I've seen one on a bike - FUGLY is the word that came to my mind. Super low quality. I'd stay away from this junk. There are better options on ebay for TourPak knock-offs.

Bought one of these Mutazu tour packs 3 years ago for my Street Glide. Did not like the top heavy feeling of a Harley TourPak and was not sure that I would use it that much. Thought that if I began to use it a lot, would toss it and get the real deal from Harley.

Still using it, and more than I ever thought I would. It is super light weight and can clip it on an off in less than a minute. About 30% smaller than the Harley unit, and it fits the lines of the Street Glide pretty well.

Since it was less expensive than just getting a Harley sissy bar, though it might serve double purpose of providing both a back rest and storage space when the G/F comes along.

So far I have used it more than I ever expected. It has been on at least 4X4,000 mile trips. Has held up perfect and far better than I would ever have expected it to.

It is nowhere close to the Harley stuff in either weight or quality, but since it includes so much in the base price, it is tremendous bang for the buck. For the price of just upgrading the hinges on a Harley Tour Pak, you get the trunk, the lock, the floor padding, the supporting wires, and the top rack.

I have had to replace the gasket that came with the trunk, but that only cost a couple bucks at hardware store.

When riding single, this usually ends up hanging on the wall but when G/F (she needs the space) comes along, or for overnight trips, this thing is more than enough to carry the extra stuff. I usually put a T-Bag on the rack, and use that for taking into the motel.

I've got one that I use once or twice a year. Fabricated my own quick detach mounting with an EBay aftermarket, cheap bracket. Works great, looks OK to me (that's all that matters), Life is good.

If you get the cheap ones at least get Mutazu brand. The others are just bad... Mutazu makes a decent box like the one your looking at, they even make HD knockoffs which are nice looking boxes for the money. I started with the Mutazu and was happy with it with many miles of use, bought another brand with wrap around backrest and it simply sucked.. so buyer beware...

When I was looking for a tour pack for my son's RK I looked at the Mutazu models on E-Bay as well. Fortunately their warehouse was very close to my place so I went down there and took a look at them. I was able to really flex the lid of their Tour Pack up and down just by pushing on the top rack. They are pretty flimsy. I guess you get what you pay for. When we travel we always have top bags and I had no confidence that their Tour Pack would hold up so I passed. I found one of the old bullet proof fiberglass Tour Packs on E-bay off of a '99 Electra glide and had it painted. I was still into it close to 1K by the time I got all the parts I needed and had it painted so it wasn’t cheap.

Just for reference, that particular model is NOT the harley replica style. They are smaller than the King Pac and look odd on a touring bike in person. Now the Mutazu King replica ain't so bad. But that model..... not so much.

But that's just my opinion.
