Good info as mine is also out. I found an alternative to the factory switch and like the back lit idea, but yours is much more cost effective.

One other thing I forgot to mention (sorry I didn't take any pictures) is on the backside of the panel that the switches mount to is a galvanized metal tab that's used to secure the wires. On mine I noticed that this tab was starting to wear through the insulation of the wires, so I rapped the wires with electrical tape the put some heat shrink tubing over the tab to protect the wiring better. I could see where down the road this could have caused some weird electrical problems.
