Just bought a new 2015 CVO Road Glide Ultra a few months ago, and now with winter closing in, time to start adding parts. The Main thing I want to do is add Apes, because I'm 6'10" and 300lbs, the bike looks and feels way to small. I have not been able to find many pictures or much information on tall bars. It would be great to see some pics of Glides with apes, with information on Brand, Height, Etc. Also, I do want to keep my heated grips. thanks in advance.
Wow, 6'10", you are gonna need some monster bars. I am gathering up my parts to add the harley brand fat apes. I am going with these since a dealer had them on a bike on the floor and I got to see where they sit for me. They seem perfect for my height.
Given you stature, I would sit on the bike, close your eyes, and put your hands in the position you are most comfortable, and have someone take some measurement. (Rise, pull back, width) and start looking to see what's out there that is close.
