Default Anyone except Harley?

Does anyone except the moco make the lighted hand control switches? Does anyone have them and if so are they worth the $$$?

I'd be very surprised if anyone other than Harley made these. If you want some cheaper lit controls, rig up a couple LED's to light your grips. I don't have the lit grips, but I don't think they are all that expensive. You can get them from Boardtracker for about $200, I believe.

I put them on shortly after getting my 15. The first time I rode my bike to work in the dark I had a hell of a time finding the switches. If you ride in the dark frequently I would say they are worth it. IMO they should be standard equipment.

I have them, had them installed at time of sale so they would be covered by warranty -- I do a lot of night riding -- even though a bit expensive -- I believe they are worth it.

I did not know that there were lighted hand control switches. The ability to see those little ***** and buttons would be handy at night, bt at this point, I do not even look for them. My thumb just seems to know where the buttons are.

They were my first mod. Since they flip flopped the cruise switches between '13 - '14 they came in handy until I was used to the new locations. And with all the stories of people accidently hitting the kill switch when riding on the highway, and not knowing why the bike was dead (no, not me... really!) It was a no brainer. If you do any riding at night, I would say it is worth it.

I remember a suggestion from Moco in the early days in my owners manual that new owners should practice knowing where and what the switches were about without having to look at them. Seemed like a good idea, then and now.

Funny. True, but how many people have memorized a standard computer keyboard?
You know the thing that probably 100 percent of us here are using at this very moment and about 85% are probably hunting and pecking still...
