I go out in the 20's if there is no snow/ice on the road. With the addition of the Ural this year, I am looking forward to tearing it up in the snow too.
DOZER is that Avatar of yours a California fire as a result of your weather?
Just poking at you.. I was lucky enough to get a project out there a couple of years ago and took my Dyna out there with me. Weather was just about always perfect for riding with a heavy leather jacket and some light gauntlet gloves. Morning ride consisted of leaving from Lovers Point in Pacific Grove up through Monterrey and along HWY 1 about 15 miles to Fort Ord.
Saturday or Sunday I'd try and ride down the coast to Big Sur and have breakfast ... Nice bowl of Fresh Fruit and Nuts was always good and seemed fitting. Hard to find grits though

I suppose it is. We are prone to wildfires even without drought. It does mean year round riding depending on where you are in the state. I live in the valley so it doesn't freeze to hard usually. We just don't know with super El Nino headed our way.
God bless you cold warriors. I moved to AZ and CA to get away from the Midwest cold, wet, freezing misery of winter.
I did ride at 48 once and I said never again. That's no joke.
I ride year round so missing a couple days because the temperature is not cooperating is acceptable to me. Besides, I know it will probably be 70 degrees tomorrow and I'll ride then.
