Default Spotlight/headlight harness question

I have an 06 FLHT and I bought the little harness from Kuryakyn to allow the spots to be independent from the hi-low switch. I took off the outer fairing but I'll be darned if I can figure out which connector this goes to. Trying to use the wire colors has proven fruitless. I even pulled the ignition switch and the panel there but again the harness to the switches don't seem to match. Can anyone help me please?

I tried it on my 08 RK and it was useless. If I remember correctly you have to have the fender light to have a harness to plug into. On the RK classic, it had the wire to the fender light with a red plastic tip on it to tie into. Hope this helps you.

I only pulled the headlight out to hook mine up.

What "King-a-Ling said"...Useless..Ended up finding another write up method which was so much easier thanks to forum member (MikeBel) I believe. Spots are on with Brights and I can still control them with original switch for on-off...I have an '09 RKC...good luck OP

I can see how the RK would be different, but since this (and the HD equivalent) are designed to work with my model I think the harness should work. One of my problems is that on my bike the harness locations just don't seem to match up with either the Kuryakyn or HD instructions. What seemed to make sense to me is that this connector must be the one that feeds from the spot and accy switches, that is a 12 pin connector but the wire locations and colors of that plug don't match up with the harness that I'm trying to install.

Well I took a leap of faith and installed this harness to the connector coming from the spot switch and it worked!
