Default Motorcyle dolly

I store my bike for winter in my garage. I have to shove it against the wall. My wife helps me but PIA to do. I was wondering if anyone has used a motorcyle dolly that is good for streetglides? I would love to roll it in place with a dolly. Need it to fit the wide back tire.

You could take a look at this and see if it'll work. http://www.harborfreight.com/low-pro...lly-95896.html

Go for it! I've been thinking about it for myself for my Ultra.

Unless they have changed the HF dolly, an 09+ touring bike won;t really fit on there- the wheelbase is too long

maybe if you remove the wheels blocks which also steady the dolly when you roll up on it.

My evo bagger, FXR and panhead fit fine on them and I use three to move bikes around the garage.

for a late model touring perhaps a lift- I know a cheap chinese $69 lift like mine would do.
BUT with any lift at any price, you'd lift only as much as required and use the tie-downs.

Pick up a J&S jack, when jacked all the way you can push it right up against the wall and you also get a great jack out of it.

I have a HF dolly and my 14 Limited fits fine and it is nice to be able to push the bike up against the wall. I bought mine because I live in the country and didn't have a garage when I moved into the house so I bought a 12'x24' wooden garage and when I get the bike in the garage I would have to back it a long way out to turn it around or put it on my lift. Now I ride the bike up onto the dolly turn it around and it is ready to ride off.

My 2011 Road Glide and 2013 Road King fit fine on the Harbor Freight dolly. The side stand tray needs to be moved however.

I put the front stop in place, roll on the bike, put the side stand down and leave it in neutral. I Remove the front stop bar and raise the front "ramp". Raising the back "ramp" and pushing it against the tire will push the bike forward an inch or two and you're all set.

Works great to move the bikes out of the way.

It you decide to get one make sure you clip the 20% coupon out of most Sunday papers.

i got a hf dolly for less than 80.00 delivered.. think it was like 89 on sale and then used the 20percent off coupon and with a delivery fee of 6.99 it was under 80.. closer to 75 i think.. i could find the confirmation email if i had to.. for the 6.99 i couldn't afford to drive to the store...was surprised it took the coupon online and gave the sale price. it even said on the item description that some kinda of large item extra charge applied but i wasn't charged it...

my 2010 streetglide fits fine on it and it works well...

didn't have to move the side stand at all on mine.. was in a good spot.

notice the stand? it can be centered but i roll bike back and leave it in gear so i can roll it around without worrying about it coming off stand.. as i don't use the stops...
works well to push in between furnace and other stuff
rolled bike back and left in gear so stand caught dolly and i can pull it around without worry about it rolling off as i don't use the stops..

I use the harbor freight dolly also. But one thing I did differently was I drilled two new holes for the side stand part. Its best to have the jiffy stand in the middle of the stand part. I had it on the end like the above pictures and when I would push the bike around in the garage. I would notice the stand area flex.

Also if you want a better ramp check out this link. Its double the price, but it has a long wheel base and longer stand area.

the bike stand is center on the dolly until i roll it back and put it in gear... i use the stand to ensure the bike doesn't move on the dolly when i pull the bike around. if i drilled new holes and moved the stand plate it wouldn't be in the "center range" of the stand.
