Default shocks

the new Premium Ride Hand-Adjustable shocks, part # 54000091, that are found on CVOs and Street Glide Specials, I bought a set off ebay, put them on my 2010 Road King, main purpose of lowering the seat height a little. HD says they are for 2009 and later touring bikes, does anyone know if they will work on older touring bikes? seems like they should just bolt on and replace the current stock air-assist shocks.

I have those shocks on my Limited. You will like the ride. A good improvement over stock. Also, welcome to the forum.

Thank you all for the quick responses, and for welcoming me. I thought it was a no-brainer, but wasn't sure because of the new frame design in 2009. I didn't know if the shock length on the 2008-and-older touring bikes was the same or different than the 2009-and-newer touring bikes. I am looking to lower the seat height on an older touring bike and was hoping i could use this shock on an older FLHR
