Black harley texture paint
My 03 anniversary road king has some scuffs from rubbing or something on the inner primary and given this engine is black from the factory or most of it anyway, does the aerosol black HD paint work for touch up or do you have to spray the entire part? I have never liked the idea of painting a block but this bike looks good black and chrome but im a stickler to little nicks and scuffs on it. Cant be polished out of course because you would then see a shinny part. Any ideas about. Can they be touched up with a brush? They are more slight discolourations rather than even nicks but looks like large soap spots that weren't washed off and dried. Slight haze if you get my drift.

I've used it before on a Nightster. It's not the easiest paint to use at all. Tough to get uniform. With that being said and my experience with it, I wouldn't try to use it as touch up. It won't match what you've already got going on.

I have used it on touch up for the primary and motor, also to paint horn covers and air cleaner covers. Works great and after some rides and washes you cannot tell the difference.
Mask the area for overspray and blend in the new paint. It will look very different T FIRST of course.
