It had been like that long enough to where it actually rubbed through the paint on the painted fairing. I didn't get pictures because I ended up installing a dash pad from kuryakyn.

I have a standard blackedout SG winshield with the Harley 3 pouch bag. Never noticed scratches, but what I did noticed was the bags rubbing ontop of the painted inside fairing. Nothing bad, about a dime size. Not sure if you have a painted inner, but figured I'd tell you my experience.

I use the tbag.
no problems at all with the windscreen, but the back can scratch up the top of the dash---which i learned here at the forums before I bought it.
the top of my dash is covered with piece of sticky-back loop velcro trimmed to fit.
