Mobil 1 V-Twin 20/50 for engine and primary and Mobil 1 75/140 for the transmission.

Without a doubt the best combo for your 2007 HD.

I just changed from sin3 to Mobil 1 in engine and primary, Redline in trans. Engine gained about 5/10 psi on oil press, clutch releases a lot better and the trans is quiet for a change. IMO Dan

Just FYI... Mobil 1 ranks 5th down the list in wear protection. Amsoil is at the top.

What is the approximate price on the Mobil 1 versus Amsoil? Amsoil seems pricey.

I am having Syn3 put in my bike now at the 1k service (free upgrade), so i will see how it does with that.

I am done with Syn3. Last year I had heat and noise issues with it. I also consumed too much oil between changes. Went to Mobile 1 and solved everything, although I probably could have used Royal Purple or any other real synthetic.

Look everybody! An oil thread!
You gotta wonder why someone would bitch about "another oil thread," yet be so eager to post in it, thus continuing the saga.

Thanks for the chuckle....

If you become a Preferred Customer($10), 20W-50 runs $6.55 per quart, if you buy a case of 12. $6.90 for a single bottle. It might be a little more than the other brands, but it's going into something pretty special. Plus it's a once-a-year/25,000 mile oil change. It's also works great in the primary, trans, and engine.
