looking for extended tank for roadking
can someone tell the pros and cons of a steel extended tank vs stock tank and fiberglass covers. it a 2006 roadking fuel injected bike. any help wou'd be great my stck tank has a big dent in it.

By the time you get the cover & have someone install it, it will run you about the same as steel tank. There is also usually some bodywork needed to make it look right.
The steel tank will need to be lined with you get it, you can get kits only to do it or pay a radiator guy to do it.
either-way you will probably need a new seat.

I'd look at getting your dent fixed! Of course it depends how bad it is, but I bought a dented 6 gallon tank for peanuts and had it repaired and painted without difficulty. Some extended tanks are available at around 7 gallons, look drop-dead gorgeous, but can cost a fortune. You may also need to change your seat, or have yours remodelled to fit.
