I just wanted to take a moment to review the AIM VP84LT. I realize, that this is an old thread, but, I just put it in my bike today. I've had 2 or 3 mechanics tell me, that it isn't worth it to do the VPC. Well, I'm here to tell you, they were completely wrong! The product claims a reduction of lever pull weight, of 20%. I'm guessing it's probably closer to a 40 % reduction. I have a 2015 SGS, and as you probably know, it has a hydraulic clutch. I've heard, and am guilty, of much complaining about it. Do yourself a huge favor, especially if you frequently ride in congested traffic, and get this. It really does drastically reduce the weight of the pull.
Now, onto the second benefit of the variable pressure clutch; Lock up. I don't have a huge amount of power, but certainly, my bike is no slouch. I am dynode at 92hp/ 112tq. While no problem for this gadget, it was too much to ask from my stock clutch plates. Under heavy acceleration, I could feel it slipping, while up-shifting. That is no longer the case. Up-shifting is now sudden and strong! I am a true believer, now, and it's because of this thread and SBates08's thread, that I even tried it.
