Guys, please help me to diagnose an issue with the rear, left side light.
When I turn the bike on, the rear left side light doesn't come on.
But, when I turn on the left turn signal, it comes on fine.
When, I apply the break, both lights come on fine.
And, when I turn on the hazard signal, both lights are fine.
How do I figure out this issue?
I turned on the bike and the left side rear light doesn't come on.
In this picture, I have the hazard lights going on. Both lights are working fine.
Okay, this is silly and embarrassing but I can't get the bulb out. Please take a look at the pic. Do I have to remove that inner part in order to remove the bulb. Yes, it is the bulb which is blown but I don't want to turn so hard that the bulb breaks in the socket.
Happy Friday!
In order to remove the blown bulb, do I need to remove that inner part, surrounding the bulb?
Bulb was installed without electrical grease and is now corroded in the socket. Spray it with some contact cleaner and let it work for a while. Bulb should come out. Be sure you use some good thick gloves so if the bulb shatters, you won't cut your hand. Worst case, you'll have to break the bulb and then use something like needle nose pliers to get it out. Oh, also you have to push the bulb in to twist it out.
