I have looked for dyno charts of before and after just the true dual headpipes. All I seem to find is ones where different mufflers, Air cleaners and other things added.
Does anyone have one with the only difference being just true duals??
Or how about feedback from your riders perspective on felt power difference.
FWIW my bike is a 2004 88 inch with Andrews 21 cams and PCV with autotune.
I hate having to mess with the factory headpipes on my 2004 and having a true dual setup seems so much easier. I need to replace a clutch cable and add a new ball and ramp soon
I am eyeballing the Fullsac ones with O2 bungs as I have a auto tune setup.

I had a 2010 Ultra and had V&H Big Radius, as true of duel as you can get without racing tubes. I was a fan of Thundermax but my buddy talked me into trying a power commander and he would dyno tune it to perfection. Well I am here to tell you, my low end power went in the tank. From 3500 up, it was a beast for what I had in it (stock engine). I ended up trading for 2011 Limited and had the slip-on mufflers, a/c and tmax. It had nearly twice the low end take off power (where I mostly run in the twistys and the town.
Having said that, if you get a full system with somewhat of baffles, you won't notice much difference like Safetyman says.
I also have the 21s and fulsac conversion. Did the duels at the same time of cam upgrade. With that being said I can say it sounds a lot better and more low end torque with the 21s! Going to upgrade to power vision with aut tune this year.(running fuel pac now) Wish I would have thought about O2 bungs last year! If you wouldn't mind Ted if needed could I maybe get a map from ya? Not a lot of maps available for 88s with 21s. I was told by fuel Motto they could get me close. Sorry so long
I went to the Fulsac true dual conversion because of a cracked Y-pipe on my stock TC88 RKC .....didn't change anything else and can't tell the difference. Cheaper on ebay.

Take a look at the S&S Power Tune Duals. They look like true duals but are actually a 2-1-2 head pipe. They come with O2 bungs, and they're reasonably priced.
The TC88 had a **** poor design, in that you could not remove the cover to replace the the clutch cable, without removing the head pipes, which were Y'd together.
Having replaced my clutch cable this past summer on my '06, I truly wish I had invested in true dual head pipes. It was a real b*tch putting the head pipes back on. Talk about poor engineering! No way should we have to take off an entire exhaust system just to replace a clutch cable!

Reduce your back pressure, reduce your low end. Simple. Going from a catted exhaust to true duals? Personally, I would rather have low end on a Harley then high end. Need I say more?
One thought when it comes to the loss of low and mid range performance, DK Custom Products Thunder Torque Inserts were designed to increase low and mid range torque and improve the sound of the pipes by reducing engine pumping losses and increase exhaust gas velocity and scavenging.
There are two models of TTI's available, the 'W' model and the 'Q' model which can be used either with or without baffles. With the 'Q' model installed you will get less sound volume, especially at cruising RPM and under throttle. With the patented 'W' model you'll have a deeper sound through the RPM range and under throttle; the 'W' model will also provide an increase in torque over the 'Q' model.
