Default Hooking up Voltage Regulator question

Just installed the High Output Charging System.

When hooking up the wires to the Voltage Regulator, one side (two wires) can only go on one way and is pretty much dummy proof.

The other side has three wires in a triangle pattern and it looks like the connectors will go together any of three different ways.

I'm thinking it must not matter, just wanted to make sure.

Instructions or Manual don't specify.

Just make sure that the north side of the plug matches up to the north side of the socket.
Just kidding there. The three legs of the stator all put out AC voltage. The rectifier in the regulator combines all three inputs to produce the DC power that charges your battery.

Talldog: Been wanting to ask, but didn't want to high jack your last thread, and hope this doesn't throw you off, but I'm really curious. What is the difference in terms of voltage output between the high output regulator, and the stock regulator? I ask because for about two months out of the year, I load my system up pretty good (I think) with heated gear.

Curious about what necessitated the installation of a high out put system for you, and how much of a difference you anticipate.

Gipper,

The reason I went with the High Output Charging System is because both my wife and I run Heated Gear, also have Heated Grips, and I plan on adding an Amp for the radio next year.

I probably could've waited until next year when I add the Amp, but I was doing the SE Compensator and I figured as long as I had everything apart, I would just do it now.

This is the chart from Harley, a big improvement over stock.

Extra power at 4000 RPM will be nice, but the biggest advantage I see is a lot more Amps at idle speed for when we're running the Heated Gear.
