Picked up my 07 SG 2 1/2 hours ago. Pin number has been changed. Myself and two riding buddies input the same code so any one of us can start the other's bike in case something happens.

I agree, you can shake the bike enough that it chirps! However, the guys stealing your accessories are not going to shake thee bike and you will only know if they lift the bike and thats too late. Your seat, bags and winshield will be gone while you wait for warning.
I have read the manual and I did not see/ noticeany levels of security. I'll look again.
