Default Brake light

Thinking about finally putting an aftermarket one on. Read a lot of good reviews on the BAL 1. Can't decide on the regular red one or the smoked slanted one. Is the smoked one less brighter? Also is it straight plug and play or does it come with a load equalizer? Anyone help. This is going my 04 Roadking. Thx

For my 2009, plug and play.

they are super bright- even if the smoked is not as bright as regular, it'd be much brighter than stock. both running and brake lights

They are plug and play. No load equalizer needed.

The BAL-1 is true to its name in red or smoke. I have the red and it'll get your attention that is for sure.

One of the best mods that I've ever done to my bike(s)!

Ditto here. EXCELLENT upgrade! I also have the red. The choice between smoke and red will depend on the "theme" you are going after....... You can't go wrong with either one.

You won't regret choosing either one. Load equalizers are usually just for blinkers.

Have a BAL-1. Love it. Have moved it from bike to bike. Nice too that they sell replacement gaskets for those that do move it from bike to bike. It is also CAN bus friendly. Have it on my '14 Limited now.
