Just a thought of where to tap Bat+
I made a two wire adapter that fits firmly into the MAXI fuse socket using the male/blade contacts of an H4 headlight cable extension kit. You can connect your own circuit splitter from here and keep the functionality of the 40A fuse.
I've got too much crap connected directly to the battery.
I've got the Harley connector so I can "Daisy Chain" some stuff to the B+ Connector, but that's only the Hot side.
What have you guys done for the Neg side...thinking some sort of Grounding Lug?
Any solid ground works fine for the negative side of the battery. The battery negative is grounded to the frame...so a lug mounted solidly to anywhere on the frame works fine.
The Harley connector itself won't care to which battery terminal it is connected. If you don't want to drill and tap for a frame lug just use another Harley connector on the negative terminal.
