I highly recommend the Dragula 2-1. I have the Dragula 1 on my Ultra and it really brought in the low end where it was missing with a Jackpot header and high output slip ons. With the Dragula 1 and with a dealer tune it's sitting at 103hp and 106tq with 98tq at 2500 rpm. I have an appointment with Ed at the Dyno Difference for a real tune on April 4th.
Yeah, would have been nice. All the product he had sitting on the floor & coming in, was sold. Trust me. I asked him to strip the pipes off his bike. He pretended not to hear me. So I said it again. Lol! Then came the answer. "no"........ whatever.
The dip may be clutch slip during the run up for the full power readings. Had one like it when I got my tune and we did a slight adjustment and the dip vanished.

Lol. They are worth the wait. Took about a week for me to get mine. The plus side to them is they have a nice deep rumble at speed, no problems hearing my radio, but really sound off when you twist the throttle.
Lol! I wasn't Accusing you guys! Mostly posting for others. And waiting for someone to explain the dip where no one wants one. Lol.
Long story short......I have nasty s.e. slip ons. Couldn't move fast enough to see if a better set would have made a difference. Kinda glad I didn't get them.
I don't want to waste money on slip ons, if it won't take care of dip. Maybe 2/1?
JT, The company who is going to dyno my bike told me to have my fuel filter replaced before my next tune. How many miles on your bike and was this mentioned to you?
Open a/c
555torqster cam
Stage 1.5 heads
Stock decatted head pipe.
S.E. slip ons.
Looks like 100h/p112tq not a fan of the dip. Was looking for 105/115. Oh well....lol!
JT it's not that bad really, you probably can't even feel the dip but as stated a good 2-n-1 would bring on the tq. earlier and you would feel the difference. I think you have seen my post where I show the difference between the x pipe design and a 2-n-1 so another option to look at is a Rush Wrath, awesome pipe bought from Direct Cycles, best price I found. You could also put a set of crusher mufflers with the 2" baffles and that may help the low end a bit, good luck.
Another vote for the 2-1 exhaust to make the difference. Below is my dyno chart from a few years back. It's close to your setup, but not exact. This is with a 107 kit, 555 torquester cams, and Dragula 2-1 exhaust. There is no head work done on this. Torque came on fast at 118ftlbs. I really liked the cam. Unfortunately my crank scissored not long after this.
A flat torque curve is what we look for with these engines, especially in touring bikes. HP production is just a byproduct of torque and RPMS, and the engine spends very little time at peak HP anyhow. Your dyno chart shows excellent torque available in the "normal" rpm range, aside form the slight "dip" in the torque curve, which is something to raise an eyebrow about, but not really a big deal, it's still over 100ft lbs in that range. That kind of power will really make it nice riding two up and not having to shift to lower gears to keep the rpms up when you encounter steep grades, etc......IMHO.
If you are not able to "tune" out the dip in the power curve, it may simply be what we call "reversion", which is often a combination of head flow (intake to exhaust flow ratio), cam lobe size, LSA and lobe placement, exhaust scavenging, etc. I've had this happen a number of times, and it never was a big deal breaker in actual use....FWIW.....Cliff
Thanks guys. Words of experience are always welcome. I found a set of slip ons (crushers) that I really liked. Dyno was done with a nasty, and I do mean nasty set of SE's.all closed up. But if just switching mufflers is not going to help, I will swap to the 2 - 1 deal. Really for two reasons.
1. Help the slight dip. Which I agree is not that big of a deal.
2. Make some more noise. Probably just as important..... hahaha.
I'll be on the bike this weekend to assess things as they sit and go from there. Thanks again.
just an observation, but it looks like the dip in torque happens just as there is a dip (richening in A/F) just at 2700 rpm. Doubt its clutch slip. It dips all the way down to 10:1 A/F. That seems way to rich to make any power at that low of an rpm.
