Default Best Oil Filter Wrench

I have always used the Harley Cup Wrench but I don't know if filter covers are getting smaller or what but it slips on tight filters. Had to wrap duct tape around filter and struggled to get loose on two bikes this weekend. I oil filter gaskets and only tighten a little after they seat but they been real stubborn lately.
Do I just need a new cup wrench? I have seen Rivco Wrenches mentioned but they look like they would be hard to get good leverage.
What's best?

I use the K/N Oil Filter 171-C with the 11/16" (17mm) nut on the bottom.
I catch 'em on sale @ Amazon for around $12 - $14 and stock up.

I use the harley one http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...-filter-wrench
or the rivco oil filter wrench http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/ri...art/RIV-HD-021

Or you can buy a k&n oil filter with the nut on the end.

1" socket. If this doesn't work, you've got the wrong filter .
