Default New models unfinished rear ends!

I noticed in Daytona that a lot of the new tour bikes have two large cutouts in the rear. I finally asked someone and they said that's the way they come? If you want a filler strip you have to buy one.
I am outraged. It looks like ****. It looks unfinished. I would never buy a bike that looked like that.
Ok I am done.

Some of the touring bikes show it without holes on HD site. Depends on model.
