How big of peice of wood? Talking 3/4" or 2 x 4? Not.flid change, just to adjust the cutch. It's a royal pain o get level safely without a jack.

I don't have a jack or table as I don't have much room. But when doing things where the bike should be level I screwed in a good sized eye hook into the wall stud. Then use a ratchet strap between that and the bikes left side crash guard. Connect strap to eyehook and crash guard, put blocks of wood under kickstand so bike stands just upright, and then just snug up the ratchet strap. Pretty archaic but works for me and hasn't fell over.....yet. Regards Jim

Correction - I believe I connect strap to the left handlebar when I do this. Don't need to be cranked tight, just enough to keep it on balance and from going over.

2X4 is what I used before I had the EZUp stand. You do need to be level though for fluid chance to ensure adequate/correct level.

A spark plug socket already has the nut welded to the top allowing an Allen wrench to penetrate through the drive socket
