You know that little red key/light on your speedo that blinks on and off everysecond or so when you set your FOB???
Well mine is doing something real funky - blinks every second or so but then every few minutes it has a spasm and blinks like 3 or more times in a split second. Looks bizarre.
Any significance to that???
Maybe the bulb is about to go on the "blink"???
I know, it is a dinky item, but I just spent quite a few bucks on the Security II system with Pager and am wondering if that changed something???
OK I found the DTC procedure in the DIY section of the forum. Cool - did it.
Results: P = nonE S = nonE SP = nonE T = nonE
After the "nonE" shows up and I press the button again, in each section, I get a "code" but it looks more like a part number in this format Pn 12345-06.
Called the dealer - typical BS - even though I just bought the 5 year extended service plan - all they said was reset it - so I ask how - and they say read the owners manual - thanks, that was real helpful - NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not even the $50 service manual talks about DTC.
Maybe I should have taken those funds towards the extended warrantee and paid people here on this forum instead for more valuable advice!!!!!
I am thinking I'm OK and maybe just have a spastic security key light.
