After rewiring the upper part of my apes, I noticed the red key light was on. As I rewired I would check to make sure the bike would start. I don't have a key FOB and was unaware of any security system. How can I clear this damn light?!
If you don't have a key FOB, then why do you think you have security?
That key light will also come on when it detects an electrical fault.
I do have a key FOB...I'm now leaning towards voltage regulator. As I said earlier, "voltage while running is peaking at 16.6". The radio ***** down and security light comes on around 16.4 and at 15.9 the light goes out and radio powers back up.
Sorry wrong thread
