Default Setting True Throttle Position

Question...

Yesterday I set the throttle position on PCIII on my '07 RKC after allowing to warm up a little while, closed setting was 4960, numbers were jumpin around quite a bit, varied between 4940 and 4990. Today after a 50 mile ride, I checked again to see if there was a big difference after some solid running time, range varied from 5000 to 5048. I left original throttle setting of 4960 because map is running real well, just wondering why the big swing and if you guys saw this. I'll toy with it over the next week of so to try and find the point which works best with map. Could first not been warmed enough?

I know every engine runs slightly different, and different mods have affects, just wondering what's the closed throttle setting most of you guys saw on the '07 96".

Thanks bros

I set mine yesterday on my 99 and i did it right when i got home from work, when it was hot, man what a difference it made, Thanks Taterdog. BTW did youset your 100% open also. I did them both. Now my idle is a little low 750-800. I'll have to raise it some.

The tutorial on the PCIII website says that the numbers will jump around a little -- it's normal. It also says the 0% position is the more critical to be set. Setting the 100% setting should be optional. If you're happy with the ride, you should be fine.
