When I had 5% at 0 throttle positon I had a very rough idle. Resetting the throttle positon corrected my idle. I think that a 5% to 7% at 0 throttle also will cool you bike in bumper to bumper traffic. I think that is what they do on the parade maps. I keep mine a 0.
I do have mine at 15% at the 1250 RPM and obove in the 0 throttle position. Takes the popping out when you are decelerating.

I've noticed something since I installed the PC. I'll try to describe it the best I can. Maybe you and others can help.
When I let off on the throttle to slow down, the bike seems to abruptly slow down. It seems like the fuel is shut off completely and the bike slows down from compression. Kinda hard to describe. Maybe someone else knows what I mean. It didn't seem to do this as much when the bike was stock.
Maybe I should do what you did and give it more fuel at RPMs above idle at 0 throttle. It just occured to me when I read your post that this might be causing the issue I tried to describe.
I believe it is very important to set the 0% idle as I've heard it emphasized on here a few times.
I am "guessing" that the 0% throttle becomes the reference point for the rest of the throttle positions and hence if it's off, they'll all be off, but that's just a wild *** guess on my part.
