Ohlins s36e 13.25" for tourers only have 3 1/4" travel. Per Ohlins site:

FLH/FLT*** 1998-2012 HD 022 S36E $ 648 13 3 ¼

However, my Works Performance 13 1/2" shocks do have 4" travel!!

your post seems incomplete. so does the extra 3/4 inch mean anything in terms of comfort?

Of course. People say their is a big difference between 2" travel (SG) 12" shocks and 3" travel, 13" shocks. Add another ~1" to that. That is one reason I went with Works and 13 1/2 shocks. No one else offers a custom built shock with 4" of travel. They offer all the other goodies too. Excellent customer service, rebuildable, ride quality guarantee for a year where they will change springs and/or valving for free, USA made... and less expensive then others. They also have a system called ARS if you ride 1up and 2up, allowing you to adjust for weight. Lots of good shock choices available from several manufacturers.

Default Emulsified VS Seperated?

Let me ask this is there a big difference between an emulsified (#2) and separated (#3) set up?

No not for a sporty, Howard is a dealer for Ohlins and his shocks are custom made by him. Not just sold in a package from the manufacturer. You will not find his shocks on Ohlins or any other site.

from what I read emulsified once hot loses some of the initial cushion. shock oil does heat up from use. not sure I worded that right. the separated stays constant as the fluid does not aerate. I stand to be corrected.
