Has anyone ever installed a tail light from an ultra or road king onto a street glide that didn't come with one?
I'm talking about adding this oem style tail light to the fender of the street glide that didn't come with it

if you want to go factory, the fender would have to be changed. the one you has isn't dimpled, it isn't just a matter of drilling mount holes. easiest, and cheapest solution is the custom dynamics one. lifetime warranty, $150.
Streetglides '07-'09 have the stock center taillight. I like mine and I think the u shaped turn signal piece on the newer models looks like something is missing. I want all of the lights I can get on the back. I added the red lenses and module to make the turn signals into taillight brake lights. Plus I bought a custom tri-bar led that has turn signal brake lights built into it too.
I agree, I want more lights back there and in my opinion I don't think the stock lights put out that much light. I'll most likely end up getting the custom dynamics so that way I don't have to cut the stock fender to make opening for the factory light.
Next question, does anyone know if other lenses fit the custom dynamics mount? Just curious in case I want a different style lens down the road or damage happens to it.
