exhaust wrap?

i am thinking about getting the fullsac kit for my road glide and was toying with the idea of leaving off the heat shields and using some black exhaust wrap. Has anyone done this on a bagger or have pics of it?

consider that the wrap will draw moisture and can damage the pipes.

they will draw moisture while sitting? cause i would think while riding they would get hot enough to burn off any moisture but i dont know for sure. also what kind of damage like rust from the moisture or worse?

I thought about wrapping my pro-pipe collector with heat tape where it has yellowed. I kinda think that might look pretty cool. Where can you get the heat tape?
