not really overly difficult. i just rebuilt the forks on my 07 flhtc. changed the sliders to some powdered black ones and installed a progressive lowering kit. i had a buddy hold things and did not have the harley vise tool. get the service manual for instructions and torque values. you do not need a harley seal tool. i used a piece of 1 1/2 inch pvc central vacuum tube and used a dead blow hammer to gently tap it in place. buy all new bushings etc and follow the instructions. just be careful you don't scratch the tubes or you will have some leaking.

Search, lots of threads with pics on how to do this. No special tools required. Other then a 6mm allen to remove the bottom damper tube bolt. Remove bolts BEFORE you take springs out. Use the triple tree as your vice - works great. And pvc and hose clamps to set seals. Clamp pvc to upper tubes and this is your slide hammer to set seals. Not difficult, just take your time. I highly recommend upgrading your front suspension while its apart.
