Crossing a creek on a king is something you don't see every day. So I had to save the pic. Lol!
Laughing, glad you enjoy it! I was surprised to see how deeply I was riding in the water. I'd watched a good half dozen bikes go ahead of me. I sank down a good 6-10 inches deeper than they did.

There were three there! All sidecar equipped, one with a powered sidecar. Neat bikes, and the guys riding them were most delightful.
Wait until you tip that beast over on a hill, then tell us what a great off roader your RK is.There is truth in the old saying " Use the right tool for the job".
I don't see that he said his RK was a great off roader. He used the tool for the job that he wanted..
I applaud him for using his motorcycle for what he wants to use it for.
I do need to cob up a skid plate. Banged a mystery rock pretty hard on one water crossing.
There were a couple times I wish I had a skid plate on but I don't go off road alot. We did have a group of people on horseback ask if we were lost though.......lol
Well done! Not for everybody. That's for sure. I love seeing the vintage pics of Harleys on all types of terrain, especially hill climbing.
A few years back, I lived in a wooded area that had a annual Enduro ride with off roaders from all over the world. My wife and I left out of our place to go to town. We got mixed in with the Enduro bikes. When we came to the next checkpoint, the look on the Enduro staff was priceless! We were on a blacked out slammed Road King with 18 apes and a tank shift!
