The new 117 hd kit wont fit a 2013 SE Roadking 110"? Why not?
What are my best options for the same money?
I can't answer why it won't fit, but we have HDF sponsors who can tune and upgrade your current engine, probably to 117" or even bigger. FM has a 117" kit and Hillside Cycles are bound to be able to help, as two suggestions!
I really don't see the difference between any of the touring platforms. They all use the same motors, frame for pre Rushmore models.
There is no difference between a 2013 CVO Road King and a 2009 CVO Road Glide, everything is pretty much the same.
Well, Execept mine is truly the FASTEST color (lol) and the most rarest color scheme for my model year.
And yes I do have the 117" Pro Race installed.
Also as Graham has mentioned, Tman, Fuel Moto, etc all do have a aftermarket 117" kit as well. Another awesome and proven upgrade with excellent results is GMR 113" kit with most getting about 125ish square!
Should be able to tell you if it fits or not in the next couple of days as my dealer will be installing the kit on my 2012 CVO as soon as the kit arrives at the dealer in the next day or so.
Was going to have to replace most of the engine anyway due to some sort of failure to the 110 and since I have the ESP was told I could get the 117 kit installed with everything required such as the SE Street Performance Tuner and Dyno time and I would only have to pay the upgrade fee of around $1,400.
It will fit with engine removal and case boring as is the past. With the 2016 110's the case is now pre bored to accept the kit. HD made it much less expensive to upgrade. No need to remove the engine.
Many owners of the 16 Lowrider S are having it done when they buy the bike. It is around $1,700 plus labor.

It's a direct plug and play!
No case boring required. A very simple Bolt on kit on ANY CVO 110" or "S" 110" motor.
There is NO difference between a 2013 CVO Road King motor and my 2009 CVO Road Glide. Except the 2009 CVO models were the last year of the hand builts by a 2-4 man team.
