Anyone Know What This Is?
Trying to help out a friend, i don't have this cable on my bike so my service man. is no good.
Looks like a shrouded cable that is run underneath the tank. Almost like a spring. See the other photos, my dads 2003 Road King Classic has it too.
Bike is an 06 Electra Glide Standard.
Anyone know what this attaches too?

Appears to be the bottom half of a throttle cable. The bell shaped end goes into the cruise roll off switch and open end goes to the throttle body. Maybe the cable was replaced and too lazy to take tank off? Mike

Rmc115 is mostly right. It is your idle cable not throttle cable. You need to install new one. If he has stock height handlebars on bike, here's one for $30.39. At this price you can save about $15 from dealer price.
