Bagger,
Did you replace just the filter or did you use the stage 1 kit? I am looking at the same setup but not sure on what filter setup I need.
Thanks

I used the Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage 1 kit on my bike. It literally took me longer to remove the OEM air cleaner than to install the new one! Absolutely love it!
Cheers!

Bob,
When you bought your ANBS did you get the ' natural ' or the ' chrome ' version? ....or does it even matter if its something out of view.
Thanks.

Bob,
Which way did you go on I-190? Not much traffic beteween the Rt 140 exit and Leominster. I ride out that way when I go down to American Harley. Didn't think any one was from this area.

Good morning!
I went down Rte 12, past American (They heard me going by!
), then took a left onto I-190 north back up to 117. Phil is great at American. Bought 2 bikes in 2 months from him! Of course, the first one was a 2006 VRSCD - V-Rod. Had it for a month, wasn't comfortable enough for the wife, so I traded it back in for the Electraglide Classic. Absolutely love it!
Drop me a PM and we can hook up sometime in the area!
Now if only this rain would go away now!
Cheers!

Roman,
I bought the natural one, as the only thing you will see are where the banjo bolts go through into the heads. What good is chrome is you hide it?

I just did almost the same thing yesterday. Put the Ovals on, did the Screaming Eagle Stage 1 Air Cleaner and then just did the download and remap. No PCIII or SERT needed. Bike sounds great now and has a good throaty rumble that I was looking for. Now i just gotta get used to the sound and learn what my mileage will change to.

I hope my V&H Ovals come in tommorow. I have a slightly different setup otherwise. PCIII and Screaming Eagle Stage 1 A/C. Looking forward to the louder pipes and getting the bike to run a bit cooler.
The pipes, AC, and PCIII map are all on. I love the new sound although I'm sure my neighbors don't when I leave at 7AM. [sm=violin.gif]ORIGINAL: serverpimp

Tonight's commute home will be the firsttrue test to see if the bike is running a bit cooler.Forecast of85 degrees for a high.If it doesn't run cooler I guess I have some PCIII mapping to do.

I chose the VH package over rhineharts I figured even though vh offers a program for rhineharts i decided that there engineers would spend more time tuning there own system I went with the VH true duals fuel pak and arlen ness bigsucker on a 05 RK I love it great sound and much improved throttle response has anyone had any dealings with the zipper engine kits if so let me know i leaning towards a 107" musle kit by zippers?
