i have a 13 SG. instead of these brackets to mount the driving lights, would the older style passing lights with the horizontal bar bracket bolt right up on the SG ??
since the older setup just bolts to the four bolts on the legs, i don't see why this would not work ?
i prefer the looks of the older light setup rather than the modern day brackets.
This was the first thing I did when I got my bike. I was leaving work late at the time and it was pretty dam dark, and you can never have enough lights looking forward. Same as another posted I connected mine to the ACC switch to stay on with high beams on. I added additional switches because my OCD kicked in and I wanted more switches where the blanks were.

I've seen the older lights on a '10 like mine, so I'm guessing they may fit just the same way on your bike with no issues or problems.
