Hello all, long time viewer, first time poster, the problem I have into with a newly purchased, used 2001 Harley ultra classic is when I was on the ground doing some routine maintenance I realized that the lip of the rear tire On both sides of the rim seems to be on the outside instead of on the inside of the rim, which seems peculiar to me because the front tire is not like that, and I have not seen another one like that, what's puzzling is if it was installed wrong which it was done by a dealer I don't think it would hold air in its current state, or it would lose air which it doesn't. My question is is this normal, has anybody seen this before, attached are the pictures thanks for the help

 

How old is the tire? Beyond 5 years, you should change it.

You're not seeing the rest of the tire below the rim, looks fine to me.

No tire was just replaced 2 years ago, bought the bike from close friend, Who surrendered all the paperwork when I purchased the bike
