Like all have already said, Map out the route, tell family or friends your plan. Notified them if you change plans. Service the bike before you leave. Know your limits and don't push them. Stop before you have to. Eat and drink along the way. But most of all have a good time, Safe trip JIM

- I DO have extra ammo
- Have Oakleys with interchangable lenses, have my clear ones on the bike
- I DO know my 5 digit pin, have to use it a lot here in TX due to interference issues that cause the fob to not register
- Can't bring the full face, just not enough room. Wish I had a tourpak
- I didn't realize how cold it can get in Milwaukee this time of year. Packing a sweatshirt now!
- Didn't think to call the bank to let them know I am travelling, doing that now!
- Have cash for the tolls
- Have a cupholder on the crash bar and a tall cold bottle of water to start
