Congrats on the change. I'm actually thinking of the opposite, moving from an Ultra to a Switchback. I want a lighter bike.

The switchback is a pretty decent bike. Being so much lighter, it was definitely a lot faster than your average touring bike. And it comes stock with the 2 : 1. But spending 2 hours a day commuting...I wanted something more comfortable. My only real gripe was that the removable windshield mount got loose and rattled on bumps. Since I always left the windshield on, I ended up removing the mounting studs and replacing them with bolts that actually clamped the windshield down.

Wrecked my Dyna in October bought the RK in May and although Dyna was a fun ride I am loving the RK especially on my 4 hour ride home to see family every weekend.
