2010 electra glide classic fuel issue
Hi people....can someone help me????? I got some bad fuel and need to drain my tank.....I know it is bad fuel as it ran great in the morning on the 20 mile trip to work but at 5pm in 120 degree heat it started mild surging then bucking then backfiring....so I talked to a dealer service tech and he said to add octane booster and it ran better after 10 minutes but then started backfiring again....I do not want to pay $300 at a dealer to have them drain the tank and I cant afford expensive fixes...I tried to syphon the gas but my piece of tubing wont go down to the bottom of the tank....research tells me there is a crossover to avoid syphoning....someone anyone help....I just want a quick drain job not taking the entire bike apart and removing fuses etc etc etc....

I siphon no problem, with bike on jiffy stand, the fuel will run to the left side of the tank, put your tubing there.
like always don;t smoke or flame, ventilated area- like outside.
