Default Long Ride Shields....

Is anyone running the Long Ride Shields Stealth Re-curve? Do you like it or prefer one of their other models? The price is really low on all their models. $39.99....I was surprised by the by the price.

Thought I'd bump this as I'm interested, too. The Stealth looks really odd, but I'd like to know how it works.

can't attest for the stealth. i got the ultra elite and i love it. wind is kicked up a couple inches over my head and it's below my line of sight. keeps wind off passenger's face as well. the ultra elite is a wonderful shield. they suggest the windshield height just below your nose.

Hawg,
I've run the 8" and 9" on my 09 Classic, I now have an 8" on my 2016 Ultra. They work great.

I too have the Ultra in a 9" dark tint. It was the first one I tried and I never looked for another in three years. They have a sale going right now, and as cheap as they are how can you go wrong? Hell, you could get the Stealth AND the Ultra and still come out money ahead over some other brands. Get one, you won't be sorry.

I just put a 7" Ultra in dark tint on my bike to replace the stock (14"??) clear. It's probably an inch shorter than the 'recommended' height - I did this as I wanted to have plenty of 'look over' clearance with the dark tint. Turbulent airflow with this shield just barely clips the top of my helmet if I sit as upright as I possibly can - probably an inch or 2 over the top in my normal riding posture.

Haven't had a chance to ride 2-up with it yet, but I'm guessing the wife may be getting hit with some turbulence with this shield. Will swap back to the tall clear for her comfort for longer trips if it's an issue.

I have the 9 inch Ultra with light tint and love it. Tried the Stealth one but its more for racing. It buffeted the air on my head from both sides and on top unless I leaned on tank lol. They were cool and let me trade it for the Ultra

I have a 7 inch medium tint. I like it a lot better than stock. The wind coming in from the front of the bike goes up and over my head.

It seems that I have more buffeting since installing the LRS. Maybe not buffeting, but more wind coming up from under the fairing. I'm not sure if the shield has anything to do with this. But I didn't notice it being like this until I installed the shield. I'm wondering if I should go to an 8 or 9 inch.
