I've got a 2011 ultra and I've been wanting to put mud flaps on, mainly the front
one before installing a low mount oil cooler. I wouldn't mind purchasing a pair but haven't seen any I like. I just want a simple nice looking mud flap, most material is to thick. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Pics would help
Thanks
I cut a chunk out of a truck tire inner tube and stuck it to the inside of the fender skirt with Permatex RTV. The inner tube has the same curvature as the fender, so it fit perfectly. Easy peezy. I squirted some vinyl dressing on it and it looks pretty good for an essentially cost-free mudflap.
All three are good thanx for the ideas I think I'll try the inner tube first because I happen to have an old Trk inner tub. Google and pics were very helpful.
