im assuming you all are using years rates cause State farm has been better to me than anyone and for my 06 RG full cover is only 99 a 6 months, But i also have the house and 5 cars with them and another bike
That's interesting...I'll have to check that UM thing out, since I have full coverage health insurance. I guess a passenger better have it as well, though.

Similar story for me. I had Progressive, then in 2006 the premium jumped over 50% with no reason given. I shopped around and found that Geico was almost half the premium of Progressive, so I moved. My premium for an '07 SG with full coverage, except UM, is about $450. An insurance-agent friend of mine told me you don't need UM if you already have hospitalization insurance, so if you have both you have overlapping coverage. UM covers injury to you and your passenger if you're hit by an uninsured driver. If you have hospitalization you are already covered for that.
I pay about $150 every 6 mo. ($25/mo.) for full coverage on my '07 thru Farmer's. Have house and 2 cars on my policy as well (pay about $108 for all of my vehicles per month.) Checked out geico before-hand and they were ridiculous. Sounds like about half of you are paying pretty high rates...but it's hard to tell without specifying if you're paying monthly, 6-month or yearly premiums...
have to look at different insurance ...... I have progressive... and every option available. Covers everything from medical to bike to leathers/riding-gear.... everythin you can think of. Course I do pay for it as I'm paying $100/mo for it I think I'd rather give up some of those extras and get a much cheaper policy and if I need to buy leathers due to an accident ... well I think I'll save in the long-run. Most I have heard pay roughly $25-$45/month .... I did like having everything covered with the bike ... but just not cost effective. I'd rather take the savings and put it into the gas-tank (with those rising costs) and be able to ride more.
Yeah, last year, my Progressive bill was around $380 or so -- not too bad for a RK in the Seattle metro area. Then, this year, after I got the Glide, they jumped it to $666, which is why I dumped them. It seems like they tend to charge whatever the market will bear. Geico came in $200 less.

Progressive here; $350/yr. Last time I checked GEICO it was allot more.
